WHEATON, DUPAGE COUNTY - We need judges who are excellent at what they do, care enough to work hard, and are not politicians.

I became a judge because I want our courts to be the best. I graduated first in my class from Northwestern Law and worked for the U.S. Supreme Court.

I use those abilities to do my job right. I hold lawyers’ feet to the fire to get people out of court as soon as possible.

That helps people, because the only thing worse than being in court is being in court a long time.

And I’m a judge, not a politician. I’ve never run for office before. I follow the law instead of picking winners and losers based on politics. Politics is for the folks in Springfield, not our courts.

My wife and I are raising our children, six girls and three boys, here in Illinois. Help us make our Appellate Court smarter, faster, and fairer.
